Why Drop a Bomb when you can TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN?

leave a comment »

aig New revelations show that it wasn’t 165, or 170 million dollars in bonuses given to AIG executives. But 218 MILLION taxpayer dollars. Being madder than a hornet isn’t enough. This is criminal behavior on the part of Corporations. We must remember: These companies have absolutely no allegiance to the United States. AIG serves only itself and other countries. No need to drop a bomb when you can take the money and run.

G. Gordon Liddy advertises gold after MSNBC Swiss Bank news.

MSNBC  – ran news today on how 51,000  people will be caught  with  Swiss Account hiding tax avoidance money. Immediately after this news MSNBC then ran a video ad with Watergate  Gordon Liddy trying to sell gold. G. Gordon Liddy advertises gold. So is the plan to get all these nervous people to buy gold and stuff it underneath their mattress?

Americans have such a short Memory…G. Gordon Liddy…who went to prison for masterminding the Watergate burglaries? And got away with it? You are going to trust him with your Swiss bank account money.  I read his book. As a child he bit the heads off of rats.  This is proof again that criminals and politicians run in the same clubs. Birds of a feather flock together.

It seems at this point to be the safest place to hide anything these days, is in Pakistan. We can put a man on the moon, reveal Swiss bank accunts, split atoms, but can’t find Bin-Laden. I’m sure he’d be happy to watch your gold for you.

Good luck on that.

Hearst to launch a wireless e-reader – Feb. 27, 2009

Hearst to launch a wireless e-reader. This is  good news for the newspaper industry.

Timing however is bad, and implementation may not save many daily publications which are not financially solvent enough to institute techology changes.

Maybe this would be a good directive for bailout out money?

Trillion dollar bailout very stupid idea.

All power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.Lord Acton

I think much is the same with large sums of government money disseminated [too kind of a word] to banks and corporations.   Couple lack of transparency in how banks are using the trillion dollar bailout, it should come to no surprise to us that we will get no value for its input.

Doesn’t take much.  Just give a CEO a second chance to come in a car instead his jet plane, and they get a hand out. I’m sure 60 minutes will have  oodles of video footage on where this money didn’t go, and scrupulous earmarkings in coming years.
