Morgan Stanley Executive Ousted After Trading Loss – New York Times.

Regarding the article above in the New York Times

Zoe Cruz is retiring. She was said to be a ousted “co-president” of Morgan Stanley. I have a problem with the word ousted in the above article. Its seems to be a little soft.

She’ll probably get a larger than normal retirement benefit. Corporate excecutives always do. Her business practices are described here as having a “polarizing effect”. What does that really mean? Is the New York Times just being friendly here. I think so.

Money mavens like her are costing people like you and me billions and billions of tax dollars. This should be illegal. Fortunate for her she is doesn’t have to sit in a jail cell with your local pot dealer. I have a feeling we will soon be hearing from a Congressional Oversight committee on this one in the not too distant future.

With the money she probably has now, her lawyers are too good for that; hence, the all-too-kind and nebulous definition given to her as having a “polarizing effect.”

Depending on what kind of Treasury Administration we get after the election, it is presumable that new laws soon will be passed. Perhaps at that time Cruz’s behaviors in business described as having a “polarizing effect” may become criminal, and not just conduct unbecoming.
